 Emergence - an answer to the question of new existence. The painting is part of the Grounds series and tells the story of a new emergence. While painting with exploratory techniques, chance repeatedly challenged me to go beyond the limits of my own aesthetic sensibility in order to ultimately find a way to create a successful overall work. Just as life sometimes does.
